Sharp End Awards are presented annually to individuals and organizations who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and commitment to the cause of preserving climbing access and the climbing environment.

Metolius is recognized for its contributions of staff time, resources and financial support of our advocacy work. Your encouragement of Metolius staff to get involved through direct advocacy and Metolius's own efforts on behalf of the American climbing community are outstanding.

Examples include your willingness to use catalog pages to communicate about the BoulderProject and other access and conservation issues, direct involvement with activist forums and actions and through communication outreach on Metolius's products to mentor boulders in stewardship and conservation.And of course your financial support for all our advocacy work, underscores the significance of all your contributions.
